We should probably double check this one on the other distros as well, though for the logs I would expect them to be the same as it's not typically as likely to be a packaging decision.

The Ubuntu and RDO packages for Icehouse still use /var/log/keystone.log. Where did you obtain these packages for SUSE?

Hello,
I'm working with openSuSE 13.1 on VirtualBox vm.
I followed manual step by step.

For openSUSE 13.1 use:

# zypper addrepo -f obs://Cloud:OpenStack:Icehouse/openSUSE_13.1 Icehouse

Sds,
Nicolás.

this change has been done for SUSE to follow Triple-O and devstack, see Dirk's email at:

I'll update the manual now.

Use wildcard for keystone log files

SUSE has followed Triple-O/devstack recommendations for setting up the
keystone log files and now uses in /var/log/keystone instead of
    keystone.log the files keystone-all.log and keystone-manage.log.

Use a wildcard to handle both variations.
