Bug Description

This bug keeps happening
makes Xscreensaver pops this notice after every shutdown/startup.
The error does not appear until I go to Xscreensaver to check and see why it has not activated and then it appears.
Further Xscreensaver does work after agreeing to start the startnow? but after a shutdown/restart it happens again.
 Problem repeatable.
Xscreensaver is an excellent tool so I'm reluctant to give up on it.
Thanks
