Bug Description

The Debian maintainer of oprofile disabled java support some time ago. The oprofile package is no longer present in Debian at all, and there are requests for the java library to be brought back. I'd like to do this for trusty.

Since this consists of a new binary package with no conflicts with any of the existing files, it should be a safe change to make post-FF.

That's fine, if it actually works (why was it disabled in the first place), bonus points if it works on all arches and you're not stuck doing three debugging uploads after the initial one. ;)
