Bug Description
The package importer script requires a clean OS of the given release for each release it imports. This makes it really hard to run on a regular basis because you need an entire separate OS or at least a chroot of the release, which is not trivial to maintain.
The importer should be modified to use a custom APT configuration file, as documented in "man apt-get".
