Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Gutsy with Thunderbird 2.0.0.5. Try installing the Lightning extension for the calendar. I've tried nightlies and the latest 0.5 release, all do the same thing. They install but you can't see the calendar grid and the button to switch back to the mail view doesn't work. I tried it with a new profile as well. The same Lightning releases work fine with Thunderbird 2.0.0.5 in Windows and Thunderbird 1.5.0.12 (or whatever the latest was as of 2 days ago) in Feisty.

See screenshot for what I'm talking about. As well, when first opening the calendar view, the times on the left are squished and fit into a space of maybe 50 pixels at most (hitting Rotate and then Rotate again shows them correctly).

I can confirm this with the repository version of Thunderbird on Gutsy as well. A fresh 2.0 download from the Mozilla website works fine, however.

The lightning extension is now in the gutsy repo as well, maybe that one works better?
