What does the transition schedule for Qt 5.2 look like? Is it a certainty that it will be done prior to 14.04? If so, how far in advance? The Music app should be moving away from the qtgrilo plugin. This might be a slow move, however, as we still need to ensure the new Mediascanner v2 QML plugin (which will replace qtgrilo) provides the capabilities the Music app needs.

Victor: The transition schedule is so that we'd be landing it as soon as possible. The ETA was Thursday 6th earlier, although it's maybe not moving as quickly as we'd get it in by then.

The status is at http://pad.ubuntu.com/qt52-dependencies and the landing PPA which will then be copied to archives is at https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-service/+archive/landing-006 - so the transition is actually happening right now, with more and more packages getting "locked" for the transition.

qtgrilo is not high up in the dependency chain, but if the issues in earlier packages get resolved we'd be at the point of needing to upload qtgrilo quite soon.

The signals definition in Qt is clashing with the one from /usr/include/glib-2.0/gio/gdbusintrospection.h

I'm attaching a branch that seems to fix the issue, and it's my favorite kind of patch - an ugly hack! Better patches welcome.
