There is no way to undo an edit you have just done. i.e. inserted a longer text part at the wrong possition or moved a paragraph to the wrong place. With an undo / redo this problem could be solved eaisly like you have it in most professional blogging solution editors (wordpress drupal typo3 etc)

I suggest that the build in editor gets replaced by an state of the art editor with undo redo functionality - perhaps even with spell checker and of course video and image inserts.
