Windows are placed with bottom edge offscreen

When a window is opened, it may be placed with several pixels of its bottom edge cut off on the bottom of the screen. Reproduce by opening new windows until a window is placed on the bottom edge, the bottom of the window will be cut off every time.

I'm using Unity in a fresh install of trusty.
