Icons dragged from Slingshot to the dock goes out of the screen

If you drag and drop an icon from Slingshot to Pantheon Dock the mouse/hand take it from the top left corner so when you reach the dock the icons is partially out of the screen. Also icons in that position in the dock behind the dragged icon should move to leave free space for the icon. I think the dragged icon should be taken in the middle or in another position so that the icon doesn't exit the screen before you reach the + to add it to the dock.
