Bug Description
Today, I missed both ubuntu-desktop and unity after daily update-upgrade 14.04 I tried to reinstall, but I got dependencies hell. Sudo apt-get -f install also didn't work. Here the output of terminal.
xxx@g580:~$ sudo apt-get install unity

Sounds like you have something unsanitary in your APT sources, you have a dependency pinned, or a locally-installed package.
You could try running 'apport-collect 1285163' and see if collects your installed package versions for analysis.
