Kaffeine reduces audio volume when playing videos

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kaffeine

When initiating Kaffeine the volume of the audio one automatically lowers, thus I must execute to alsamixer to return to raise it. This happens whenever I want to reproduce any file of video.

Version of Kubuntu affected:
Ubuntu 7.04 Festy Fawn
Kubuntu 7.04 Festy Fawn
Ubuntu 7.04 Server Edition

More information is needed to debug this problem.
Which video files have this problem (only the types that you have experienced problem)?
Have you tried on different hardware or on the same Pc?
