Hello

I recently purchased Dell Inspiron 7537. i7-4200M with 2gb nvidia 750m graphics card.

On installing Xubuntu 13.10, there has been no sound since the beginning. Any suggestions ?
I am seriously starting to hate Ubuntu on Dell laptops...always some bloody issue.

About the 'Confirmed' status, I am one of the affected users. My card is exactly the same ALC283/ALC3223 one. The most I could get other than no sound is some ticking/clicking sound that only stops when I hit the mute button. Right now I am back at not having any sound at all.

I have right now the 3.15-rc5 kernel and it still does not work.
