Bug Description

My brother has installed Ubuntu and loves it, but his MP3 player doesn't work. It mounts ok, but Rhythmbox does not detect it, or list it as supported, and When i look at the files on the drive, it simply has the Lyra_settings folder, no music folders visible at all.

it is an RCA H100A 4GB model.

Can someone help and show him some Ubuntu love? This Issue is primarily related to BUG #1.

~Thank you

Thank you for your bug. No need to open upstream bugs already reported on bugzilla also on launchpad. Working on players support is not easy and require to have the corresponding hardware

Access to the hardware might be negotiable for any dev with a track record on launchpad.

workaround!

If mp3 files are placed in /LYRA_SYS or any subdirectory of /LYRA_SYS they will be playable on the device.
