This problem occured after I installed MBuntu OSX theme and marlin file manager.

+ Could you please provide exact detail on how you installed the MBuntu OSX theme and marlin file manager (URLs, PPA, etc.)?
+ If you uninstall the MBuntu OSX theme, and use a file manager that comes by default with Ubuntu, is this issue reproducible?

*MBuntu OSX theme was installed via ppa and Marlin file manager was installed as per instructions on https://launchpad.net/~marlin-devs/+archive/marlin-daily
*Yes, on uninstalling the MBuntu OSX theme, and using a file manager that comes by default with Ubuntu, the issue is resolved.
