User with UID=500 is not displayed in login list. Manual entry is possible.
In /etc/login.defs MIN_UID is set to 500, MIN_GID 500
In /etc/adduser.conf FIRST_UID is set to 500, and
in /etc/lightdm/users.conf minimum-uid=500

lightdm version 1.8.4-0ubuntu1 (problem was detected after update to 1.8.5-0ubuntu1, after downgrade to 1.8.4 problem persist).

Yes, user with uid 500 is listed both in session indicator and in users management window.
