X and possibly kernel hangs on overlay screen fglrx

Hi,

Everytime I try to set up an overlay (with mplayer by playing a video or skype by sharing screen) X system hangs down or restarts.

I know the kernel is tanted because fglrx, but I need to report so maybe others can help.
