Triple click action should be configurable:

1- Select the whole line (actual behaviour)
2- Select the line after the position of the mouse pointer, including the word around (tripleclickwords on mrxvt).

Just switched from gnome-terminal.

Missing double-click -> select word and triple click -> select line, and select by click&drag is really slow, and makes cursors flash all over the terminal.

This would be a great feature. Konsole does this as well. Basically, if you are copying from a shell or python session session, you can triple-click on the first word and it grabs the rest of the line (leaving off the prompt).

There was a feature request against the core libvte widget .

It doesn't look hopeful. All the selection stuff in Terminator is handled by the libvte widget. In theory we could intercept a triple click in the on_buttonpress function in terminal.py, with Gdk.EventType._3BUTTON_PRESS. However it would also require a bunch of code to do the selection.
