I don't think these bugs are valid for new distributions. please check it once if I'm not worg.

You are expanding the text input to create more space to type in. When doing this you are not extending over the other fields you are forcing them into their minimum width, which compresses the text and forces a scroll bar. Nothing is overlaying the help text.

Alright, looked at the second example first. The second example is invalid, the volume creation example is a valid bug.
