Bug Description

Binary package hint: kleopatra

Hi.

Try to import a smime cert in Kontact.
You've beeing asked for passwords to protect it - after that a message comes:

Unbekanntes IPC Kommando

You can't import certs, you can't show any certs. Don't know what to tell anymore.

I can confirm, that using gentoo with gnupg-2.x (and only gnupg 2) + kontact and kleopatra it does work.

Are you still having issues with this? I just received a free Thawte Email Personal Certificate which is an S/MIME cert and had no problems getting it setup in Kontact. If you are still having issues with it, which cert are you trying to import, ie. can I go somewhere and get a similar certificate with my info, like Thawte, Versign, etc.? Thanks!

No its working, but only after i've did the following workaround:

cat .xsession
eval "$(/usr/bin/gpg-agent --daemon)"

If i don't start this daemon there, its broken again.

Hi, I've tried to import a digital certificate with private key (PKCS12 = *.p12) into Kleopatra v2.0.5 (KDE4.2). The file is protected by a password but the import fails directly without asking to this. Error message: Decryption failed.

Btw. File was exported from Mozilla Thunderbird
