Bug Description
Servers with software RAIDs (using mdadm) will occasionally check the RAID for integrity, which may take multiple hours. It would be good if powernap could be configured to not send the server sleeping while an integrity check or a rebuild of an array is in progress.
Status of arrays can be read from /proc/mdstat (and maybe other ways)
To post a comment you must log in.
After further research, all that needs to be done is to read '/sys/block/ $ARRAY/ md/sync_ action' . If you find anything else than "idle" in there, the array is doing maintenance tasks.
