Bug Description
Video call is not working properly with Jabber clients on Xubuntu 13.10 (32bit), i.e. :
* with Jitsi (2.4 & 2.5).
The person I am speaking to can see me and hear me, and see himself thanks to the option "show the local video".
BUT I can't see him and can't see myself either (I can hear him). Instead of his video, I just see a black square. And instead of my local video, there is my avatar.
When I go to the options to select and try my webcam, it turns on, but the preview window shows nothing (just a black square).
(The person I was talking to was using Jitsi 2.5 on Xubuntu 13.10 - 64bit).
* with Gajim (0.15)
When I try to start a video call, I get this error message : "error, reason : incompatible-
* with Pidgin (2.10), Empathy (3.8)...
When I try to start a video call, I get a message saying that there is a problem with my webcam.
My webcam works fine (with Jitsi, the person could see me! What's more, I've tested it with the "cheese" webcam application, and it works well). I've tried with 2 different webcams and got the same result.
This problem seems to occur only on Xubuntu 13.10 with a 32-bit architecture.
I've tested with Xubuntu 13.10 / 64 bit, and with Xubuntu 13.04 / 32 bit, and it works fine.
The kernel version on my computer is 3.11.0.
I was advised to give more details by using the "apport-cli" command.
I've attached the result for Empathy, those for Gajim and Pidgin will follow.
I can't get the report concerning Jitsi as "this is not an official Ubuntu package".
