Not to rush anybody with this problem but more to be able to communicate a problem solution also to customers we have the following questions:
Is there an estimated time until somebody will look into this problem?
The final release date is approaching and until now already over one moth has been passed since the last response. Is sombody working on a solution?

i have this problem too. Ubuntu server 13.10 - X64

Same error, Ubuntu Client 14.10 - X64. Some forums refer to installing pyusb, but this doesn't work either.
