Bug Description

The existing OpenStack documentation does not contain any information on gracefully unmounting a Gluster volume. IMO related caveats should be added to:

http://docs.openstack.org/user-guide/content/cli_manage_volumes.html

We should also use this tracker for any other caveats relating to safely. unmounting volumes

    Added instructions for GlusterFS share removal

    Removing a GlusterFS share is not as simple as deleting its entry from
    the shares file. This patch adds instructions on how to gracefully
    and safely do so.

    Added note for decommissioning block storage nodes

    When decommissioning a block storage node, it is advisable to prevent
    any volumes from being allocated there before migrating volumes out of
    the node. Added a recommendation in volume migration instructions for
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Fedora/CentOS and Debian/Ubuntu.
