With Nividia proprietary driver Compiz doesn't draw window during minimize animation

Bug Description
I've seen this happening with Ubuntu Raring, Saucy and Trusty (in development at time of writing) which I'm currently using, under the Unity desktop.
If you minimize a window of an open application then Compiz is supposed to draw an animation of that window shrinking towards the app icon on the launcher. However with the Nvidia proprietary driver installed Compiz doesn't draw the contents of the minimizing window and you only see the title bar and window border animating towards the laucher.
I've found that to fix this I have to go to CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Ubuntu Unity Plugin. Go to the tab "Switcher" and untick `Show live previews of windows in the Switcher`.
