Bug Description
I have two Motorola Android phones, neither of which is recognized as an MTP device in trusty (so close to the release). The models are Razr i and Defy+. The rest of the information should be attached automatically, I believe.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04
Package: libmtp-common 1.1.6-20-
ProcVersionSign
Uname: Linux 3.13.0-6-generic i686
ApportVersion: 2.13.2-0ubuntu2
Architecture: i386
CasperVersion: 1.336ubuntu1
CurrentDesktop: Unity
Date: Tue Feb 11 16:20:00 2014
Dependencies:
LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Alpha i386 (20140202)
PackageArchitec
SourcePackage: libmtp
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Still the same with the latest live CD, I get an error "Unable to mount XT890 - Unable to open MTP device '[usb:002,006]'" for one device "Android 4" and no reaction at all for the other "Android 2.3". The latter at least worked in precise, so it is a regression.
