Bug Description
I'm running Mint 16 "petra" and Cinnamon 64-bit.
I've got an elaborate password which works perfectly when logging on to the system.
If I enable the screen saver lock, though, the same password that works when logging in (or running 'sudo' or launching the Update Manager) is not accepted. I'm forced to restart the system.
This isn't a case of a mis-typed password. I've tested this repeatedly and meticulously typed in the password each time.

+1 super annoying
i hate to suggest a workaround for something that should just get fixed rather than worked around, but i've found that i can unlock the screen by clicking "switch user" and reentering my credentials
