Sections not responding to schedule(ing) in 2.6.1.2 downgraded from 2.7.0dev

Hi,
I seem to have caused more than my quota of angst but just a question following all this;
Have downgraded to 2.6.1.2 from 2.7.0dev and took a while to reestablish the extras(Journal etc)
I did seem to be able to connect a new timetable to a section then the journal worked with score systems but it seems its not working now in that it wont accept a new or a change in schedule currently

What would be the best way to repair this?

The newer attendance journal with large letters (on 2.7.0dev) is that far from stable and safe to use?

Maybe its because the Timetables imported as 2013 dates and didnt fit 2014?
Will try again,
