There are enough duplicates, but I've got no information on how to reproduce this behavior.

Anyone affected can give me the steps how to cause this bug?

This bug doesn't affect me anymore. It appeared after an update (but I'm on Saucy dev branch anyway) and also disappeared with an update ~2 weeks later.

just happened to me on trusty and the apport retracer duped my report to this ticket. I don't have any information how to trigger this bug, but for me it also happened on the next login after I did a general package update.

I see the same error but however my screen works fine.
The only problem i have sometimes is the Low Graphics Mode, which goes away on restarting most of the times.
The main problem happens when it does not go away i.e until i completely remove my amd proprietary drivers. The error come back as soon as I re install them again
