Opening a statistics window while waiting for other players to load the game crashes

Bug Description

- Launch a multiplayer game with a beefy machine with solid state disk.
- invite a player with a slow machine and HD.
- launch the game - you will be in the game much faster and see a black window while the game waits for the first commands of the other player. Open the statistics window -> game will crash.

I can't reproduce the crash. I tried both with slow host and slow client. Did we fix this by accident?

WorldSavior could not reproduce this either and he is in this situation a lot. So, we can consider this fixed.
