Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open dash

2. Type in any search terms that will bring up the sound menu

One of these menu options has a smaller icon than the other, and the one with the smaller icon does not open the sound menu, but takes you to the settings panel instead. The settings panel, when opened this way, has the icon of the sound settings menu.

The issue is that gnome-control-center lists Unity in its desktop files, that conflicts with unity-control-center

that should go away once we get the ok to upload vanilla gnome-control-center

@Tim: "once we get the ok" ... what do you mean? What is blocking that? Was that requested somewhere? You could already do that I think. On the same topic is "vanilla gnome-control-center" going to keep support for external panels or can we drop the dual builds for e.g indicators and redirect users who want those to unity-control-center?

@seb, was waiting on u-c-c being switched on by default, apparently that is done now?

we will support external panels, however only a very small subset of the ones currently available. I will file a bug for that.
