Bug Description

After rebooting, when typing my password to login with my username the typed values are not entered into the password input box on the login screen. To correct, I must first login as Guest (which is password free) and then logout. Afterwards I can enter my password and login with my username normally.

Description: Ubuntu Trusty Tahr (development branch)

It is not necessary to first login as `Guest'. Clicking on (and off) any of the icons in the top bar of the login screen makes the key strokes get registered in the password dialogue thenceforth.
