oversized fonts in compiz in gutsy on intel 945

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Title bar fonts were an inch high. After switching compiz off everything went back to normal.

This is on an intel centrino compaq laptop with intel 945 graphics.

It turns out it the intel driver not compiz as it also effects kde and xfce in tribe 4.

goto www.davmor2.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Screenshot.png for a graphical example. Kde is worse still in that all the fonts are the size of the W in the title bar. Xfce is as bad with the top and bottom bars both being huge leaving next to no desktop.

Thanks for reporting this bug in Ubuntu. Can you please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

I've changed the settings so latter on I will do a fresh install of tribe 4 and post that log. However which version would you like installing or does it not matter. Kubuntu/Xubuntu/Ubuntu.
