After pulling in some updates today into Trusty, I can no longer start mumble. I see the error:

mumble: symbol lookup error: mumble: undefined symbol: _ZN6google8protobuf18GoogleOnceInitImplEPlPNS0_7ClosureE

This may be related to a new version of protobuf that breaks mumble, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=737223
