Bug Description
Hello,
when you generated opening entries, with the wizard "Generate Opening Entries", it will duplicate the statement_id field also, that's non sense.
You will find a branch with the patch linked.

Hello,
After an other review of the problem, I see that issue is not the statement_id but the state, the state must be copy as well and not reset to draft.
I have commit the fix in the related branch
