Bug Description

Linux Mint 16, Cinnamon 64-bit

On my system I run Samba to serve some shared filesystems for my family. Every time I boot my system, Samba shares are not reachable from remote systems. I check and the smbd service is running. But remote systems can't seem to talk to it.

Then if I run "sudo service smbd restart", everything starts working perfectly... until the next time I reboot where Samba is not listening again.

I don't change any other configuration options, so it appears to be some issue with boot ordering or something.
