Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Crash not reproducible while dragging a desktop icon to the trash icon.

I moved the icon trying to hit the trash icon but i failed so, while the shadow of the icon was moveing across the desktop to the initial position, i tried to move the same icon again to the trash and nautilus crashed. simply i was faster than the animation!
i think the problem was in manageing the icon dragging while the animation was running.

Here's the nautilus debug log. There is no way to replicate the bug: hope the log is usefull.

You're right. Highly unreproducible this one. But seems plausible to me. I guess the assert fails because the code fails to realize the drag/drop operation hasn't ended just yet. (I'm just an ordinary user not a developer).
