Bug Description

On a new Asus model X551CA laptop [https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X551CA/] with UEFI BIOS, a fresh install of Kubuntu 13.10 64-bit, the wireless would not work unless the computer was put to sleep and then woken up. The fix was recommended in this bug report and also recommended that affected users report the bug too.
