Recently updated via the command line through the repository. After booting the indicator is not present and the following output occured when typed in the terminal.

$ livewallpaper-indicator

(process:25568): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.32.4/./gobject/gtype.c:2722: You forgot to call g_type_init()

(process:25568): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `result != 0' failed

(process:25568): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion `G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

Thank you for your bug report. I got the same problem on my system. I fixed the error message, but the indicator is still not visible. The indicator now uses GtkStatusIcon to show the indicator, but GtkStatusIcon is not supported by Unity. I haven't thought about that and so we have to provide a version that uses libappindicator instead. It will be fixed soon.

greetings
Maximilian

You're welcome Maximilian,

I really enjoy this app, especially the moving photo wallpaper.

Let me know when a fix is put out.

Sincerely,
