ubuntu 14.04 can't type password in uefi or legacy mode

Bug Description

The steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Download ubuntu 14.04 daily image
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/
2. install ubuntu 14.04 in uefi mode
3. after installtion, boot it to lightdm login interface
4. the system can't type password from physical keyboard or virtual keyboard

note:
1. This issue just occur in uefi mode, legacy bios doesn't have this issue.
2. In text mode, the keyboard can work correctly.
3. After booting to text mode, I run xinit&, the keyboard can work in the newly opened terminal.

I have noticed this in both legacy and UEFI mode. If I click on guest login, then logout, the keyboard will work after that.
