Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
Using Feisty Fawn on a laptop, if the power cord is reconnected to the laptop during the screensaver's fade-to-black, the screensaver will not deactivate. The only ways I have so far found of escaping the black screen are Ctrl-Alt-Backspace or reboot.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Take a laptop running Feisty, Gnome, Battery Power
2. Wait for the screensaver to begin fading in.
3. Connect the power lead before the fade has completed.
4. Move mouse, hit keyboard etc.
I'm using the "blank screen" screensaver on a laptop. Graphics claims to be "nVidia GEFORCE GO 7300".
gnome-screensaver is version 2.18.1

Hi Gerald
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?
Thanks in advance.
