Bug Description
I understand why certain programs may explicitly need or pull libxp6 but I am having a hard time finding reasons as to why the main and spin desktop metapackages pull them as recommends [ especially in 14.04+ based spins ].
xprint is deprecated and libxp6 is still available in the repositories if people feel the need to run Oracle software from 2005 or not upgrade MATLAB to >= 2011b when Mathworks fixed their bug [ as per http://
