Bug Description
After assigning volume up, volume down, and mute buttons on my laptop, I noticed that the
designated mute button sometimes does not restore previous volume settings after "unmuting".
This ill-effect does not happen all the time??? Occassionally, when I mute the system,
another press of the same button does not restore the volume to its previous setting.
Instead, the volume is reactivated to the bare minimum, which forces the user to manually set
it back up.

oes it happen only with the keybindings, or also with the applet ?
