gthumb can't load cameradriver from kernel

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gthumb

At first gthumb worked when I plugged my camera and imported pictures but then I selected "do this everytime when connected". Now gThumb starts "import pohotos" window but reports an error "An error occurred in the io-library ('Unspecified error'): Could not query kernel driver of device." and the system doesn't even see the camera.

If I disable "automaticly bring pictures when connected" from System->Settings->Removable media->Cameras, then the camera works and I can start gThumb manually and import pictures.

Is there anyway to unselect the "do this everytime when connected" so that gThumb just asks "do you want to import pictures" and not start "import photos" window automaticly.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Yes, the problem exits still in Feisty. I haven't tried it again with the Gutsy because the newest tribe 5 is the same what I used before.
