Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 13.10
Release: 13.10

libpam-unix2_2.6-1

Upon installing and setting pam to use blowfish the following error occurs:

# passwd
New Password:
Reenter New Password:
crypt_r: Don't know 0
Error: Password NOT changed.
passwd: Authentication token manipulation error
passwd: password unchanged

auth.log shows:

passwd[18723]: pam_unix2(passwd:chauthtok): No blowfish support compiled in

Issue is fixed by reverting to libpam_unix2_2.4.1-6 provided in raring. Bug is also listed in Debian, and fix provided.
