Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpowersave

In Button Events in kpowersave's configuration, set the power button to suspend to disk. When I push the power button, the system suspends. When I turn the computer back on, the system comes back to the log in screen. After unlocking the screen, the system responds for about 30 seconds, then immediately suspends again. This repeats until "noresume" is added to the boot parameters, or kpowersave is killed while the system is responding.

This is in Kubuntu Feisty i386.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?
