Eclipse 3.8.1 CDT 8.1.2, openjdk-7-jre:amd64 SIGSEGV g_object_get_qdata

Problem: Eclipse 3.8 crashes frequently during normal use. Eclipse nearly always (9/10 times) crashes when a dialog box is open and I click on the dialog's CLOSE button, or on the close button/ornament on the dialog's window frame.
