Step 3 here ("As you add other services to your OpenStack installation, call these commands to register the services with the Identity Service.") needs some clarification.

* particularly, it needs to explain which specific bits are reused and which bits are the same

This is indeed misleading. We document the exact instructions everywhere, for example at:
http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/yum/content/cinder-controller.html

So, perhaps add something like "For each service a user and an endpoint will be created, similar to the above. The specific service install has the exact command"

    contained in the section of the guide that applies to that
