DRM module stops fglrx from loading

Bug Description

As described in the forum:

with linux-image 2.6.10-10 everything works, starting with 2.6.10-11 (which
contains some patches to DRM) it doesn't even load.

when an external driver comes without any source code, there is nothing that we
can do.
In general it is not the kernel that needs to adapt to closed source vendors,
but the
otherway around.
