From the rrd-dump:

<lastupdate>1388741460</lastupdate> <!-- 2014-01-03 10:31:00 CET -->

The hotfix with all rrd files

/usr/bin/rrdtool dump mailgraph.rrd mailgraph.xml
mv mailgraph.rrd mailgraph.rrd.old
/usr/bin/rrdtool restore mailgraph.xml mailgraph.rrd

dont work, btw mailgraph runs with teh same error

Are you sure this isn't some type of time screwup? i.e. your date has gone backwards since you rebooted?
You are running ntp?
(My other guess would be a timezone issue?)

Changed in mailgraph (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium

I think its not a timezone issue, because then the delta must be 1 hour or more.
