Bug Description
rm ~/.stopmotion/
Checkout 4d4269.
build and run.
Turn the camera on and off. This works.
Close Stopmotion.
Checkout master
build and run.
Turn the camera on. Stopmotion crashes.
This seems to be because the old and new default settings have become mixed.

The fix for now is to make the Ubuntu version our version, as no-one much can be using our version. Another fix is to make sure that all fields are overwritten, not just the ones that LSM expects to be non-blank.
Both of these changes are now committed as part of other bugs.
